About this team building
Team Rock is the world’s only rock band experience for non-musicians! Your team will form their own bands and play live on stage in just two hours!
Over view
Your team is divided into bands of 4 – 7 per band. Each band needs a drummer , bassist, guitarist and the rest of the band are singers. Absolutely no previous musical experience is required and we use real instruments which have been modified for the Team Rock method. We provide all equipment, instruments, sound system, outfits and staff to run the event. We have a mobile set up that can travel anywhere in the UK, Europe or International!
Prior to your event we ask of you can choose your bands, instruments and song to learn as this helps to speed up the day. We have 15 tracks to choose from and also Christmas tracks and theme if required. If you wish the band/instrument/song selection can be incorporated into the day.
Event Schedule
Our team will arrive early and pre prepare the rehearsal area, dressing room and live stage. This can all be in the same room or separate.
Your team will be greeted by our Team Rock staff and the concept is introduced. We run the event in three phases as follows.
Phase 1 – Rock Foundations
Bands take their places at their silent rehearsal units. These units have headphones, tablets and instruments prepared for each member. They learn individually from our playlist of custom made, short and easy to follow videos which teach them the parts for their chosen song. (30 mins)
Phase 2 – Rock Rehearsals
The units are now switched over so the band can hear each other. Under the mentorship of our Team Rock staff they practice their song together and prepare for the live performance. Imagine a silent disco with instruments!
Phase 3 – Rock the Stage !
Our final phase sees the bands congregate in the live stage area. Each band takes turns to go into our dressing room, make their rock star transformation and be announced onto the stage to perform for the rest of the team. Members of Team Rock offer subtle musical support off stage for the more challenging parts.
